Ellora caves

General view of Caves 32 (Indra-Sabha) and 33 (Jagannatha Sabha)

The world famous rock-cut cave temples and monastries at Ellora are located on the Charanadri hill range in north-south direction near Ellora town. There are total of 34 caves and belong to three diferent religious faiths; Buddhist, Hindus, and Jains. In India, it is the only place where three religious groups have their important caves.

Do visit this wonderful place while in Aurangabad. In my opinion, the best time to travel to this place will be from September to early December.
